Sarah’s work is at once bold and elegant. Theatrical and dream-like. Her mixed media paintings have a richness and fluidity that infuse her dresses with a life-like quality.
The rawness of Sarah’s gestural marks, juxtaposed against the delicate elegance of dresses from a bygone era, give her work an ethereal quality. It’s this quality that invites the viewer to experience the dynamic moments of the women who wore the dresses.
Sarah’s work has been featured in theatre production, displayed at the Beverly Hills Hotel and selected for an international juried show in Chicago. One of her pieces was chosen for the Imago Mundi Great and North Collection and was shown at the Venice Bennial’s Palazzo Loredon.
